Kosher / Non Kosher foods ? Help ? Im in a bit of a pickle, Im confused as to whether these foods are kosher or not ... I need 5 kosher and 5 non kosher foods. Are these correct ?? :

Chicken and meat have to be labeled as kosher and the animals would have been slaughtered a certain way.
Kosher means it was approved by a rabbinical board and was prepared in a specific way to be clean.

Hungarian Kosher Foods is a full service Kosher supermarket, with a very large butcher shop. Lots of great items that may be hard to find elsewhere. I do suggest calling ahead for special requests.

There is now a place in Downtown Chicago that offers grab and go sandwiches and packaged foods and drinks. It is called Kotel Kosher and is located in the French Market, 131 North Clinton. It is under CRC certification.

Sticking to ones religious beliefs can be challenging. But I admire those who do.
