Is the lima recipe served warm or cold? If warm, I'm not sure about using it at a picnic?.

What are some good picnic foods? I immediately thought fried chicken, but I'm wondering if there's something that travels better, in terms of a main dish type of thing? Any suggestions? I love to cook, and I'm good at it, so don't pull any punches!

I can make a huge batch of each and it will last for quite of Iced Tea!!! Pepperoni Pasta Salad... .
Potato salad and baked beans...
Ds asked for them at our last picnic, and jello for a picnic .

If you have a way to heat the food and keep it cool, I would do a make your own taco type of thing some ice-cream in a cooler.
Enjoys mexican food, she may like spanish food in general, in which case just do a bunch of tapas.

Bbq chicken, loaf....
Just make sure to keep things cold (like eggs, mayo etc) .
Bottled water.
Deviled eggs, potato salad, chips, easy pasta salad like Suddenly Salad, fresh fruit .
Cold cut sandwiches w fixings such as mustard, mayo, tomato & lettuce etc .
