I am flat footed and per a gait analysis i was told that i overpronate, hence, the stability shoes. however, with the device you step on to determine arch type, my right foot is obviously more flat compared to my left foot.

Foot pain can be very debilitating. In the area on the outer foot, some causes include occult fracture (e.g. stress fracture), soft tissue masses (e.g. neuromas, ganglion cysts), and referred pain.

I hadn't done anything I tried to stand up.
I woke up with terrible pain in my foot when I put pressure on it.
I had similar pain but on the inside of my foot, it was a very very tiny stress fracture to me.

The second question is, if my arch/foot pain is a result of plantar fasciitis then why am I feeling after a while and not right....

I know when I do get a gout attack it usually lasts .
