What do your chapters do to fundraise generally or for events?

We get most funding from the student government, but some side projects get money from Space Grant or from the Aerospace Department and Engineering Council... .
Iowa State doesn't fundraise so much as look to different sources for different projects.

So far, any donations that have been made to sponsor mee in Great Strides have pretty much come from guilt trips and begging. (Except one.) Does anyone have any fundraising ideas? One thing I am considering doing is making soap again (old hobby of mine...

AnotherI don't usually do fundraising myself but a friend of mine is very active in the lymphoma something or another society.
It's great.
Around on their forums too? People get so creative about fundraising these days.
