If my google search sources are correct, it was approved by the FDA in 1991 so it seems like there should be data on it's efficacy... .
No, never heard of it, not even from the fancy bone endocrinologist or his brochure of osteoporosis options .

There are lawsuits filed against mfgs of Fosamax.
The jaw suffers as do the stomach and esophagus.
These drugs! We firmly believe that my mom's esophageal cancer may have been because she took Fosamax.
