We bought a CatMate water fountain for our cats, it seems to work OK licking water from puddles or off cars when outside but seem happy to drink from the fountain when inside ! Have wondered whether....

We purchased a 3 teir water fountain and love it but after a few days water is green and dirty, it's too big too clean constantly, wondered if there was something to put in it to keep water clearer, I know bleach works well but not good for birds or flowers...

I'll be moving house shortly and was thinking, are fountains REALLY worth it?

Of course removed their water bowl & it didn't take them long to start using the fountain.

From the mistakes of others" You CAN put a little bleach in the water which won't hurt anything breathing.
