Hi!
I´ve had this problem for quite some time (1-2 months maybe), but it seems to get worse by time.
My problem: - TF2 freezes, ingame, everything else works.
* I can disconnect from the server, check my backpack, craft some stuff, talk to people on steamfriends...

I opened TF2 and it brings me to login and I log in, then it just freezes for really long and i have to cancel it. What's happening???

The implication here is that crossfire was causing the engine to freeze since sound was unfrozen:
Multicore enabled/disabled
Vsync 4x/off
Sound High/low
command line mat_queue_mode 0 (in TF2, its no longer in l4d2)

Yeah, way too big of a change in general gameplay, freeze the end of the medigun or something+visual icing and a a voice clip) but never reduced and you.
And really hampers some core gameplay mechanics in tf2.

Odete i skinete GCFSCAPE na doljnjem linku i ako nemate .NET framework.... Ima sve tam.

Yep, it definitely hiccups in games...and sometimes when i watch movies .
It could be caused by overheating but it sounds more like a loading hiccup .

I've tried to play random holiday event servers now, and each time I try to join the game gets stuck on either retrieving client info, sending client info, or I get network error upon entering the server and get booted (literally only got this far ONCE...

It's come to my attention that TF2 really doesn't want to seem to function as it should on my PC, and it has this odd tendency to have hl2.exe crash on me every round or so.
I can be bugging about in CS, making stuff in Hammer and all that jazz, but lord...
