What does that mean?
In the instructions for a project, it said to "freeze the Rails gems". Is that different from freezing the Rails version?

Any solute (dissolved solid) lowers the freezing point of water.

Would this help raise the freezing point..." you mean lower, not raise.

I am calculating freezing point depression of binary systems as water-methanol, water-ethanol etc. in Prode Properties
the procedure gives for water-methanol errors of 3-8 K against experimental data at different compositions...

You could try the drivers from NGO , they have some bugfixes which the original NVidia-Drivers do not have .

Really, you ought to make the bit that runs in the seperate thread testable on it's own .
How is your thread posting information back into the main thread? I've been able to debug multithreaded apps by placing breakpoints in the worker thread before .
