Ik alot of peiple have done this mod, but I can't seem to find any build threads on it. Someone know how hard it is to convert to leafs all around and how much lift I can get out of it? Thanks guys

You'd need.
Kinda like going backwards.
A ZJ is 4 linked front and rear which is what most people replace leaves with.
Lift will be determined by the leaves used but not sure why you'd go that route .

I have to crawl over speed humps in my ZJ because if I go any faster, the front end makes one hell of a crash as I come down off the hump - almost like I've got no suspension at all. Is this likely to be worn springs or worn shocks, or both? I'm hoping...

That's sounds like a pretty badass and a full set of adjustable uppers and lowers and both adjustable front and back trac bars And 6.
The rear axle are all left until I'm done messing with this ZJ.

So ill be in the market for another jeep in the spring this year and ive been wondering, what really is the better jeep?as far as fuel, reliability, ect.

Especially since the entire front end is identical to the ZJ.
Much all of my front end on my zj granted its awd 249 If you swap that 249 out for a 242 (or 231 is better I wouldn't say better.

I am looking for a cheap and reliable suspension lift for my 1998 zj. I would like 4-6 inches. any ideas? no spring swaps. I would like for the lift to come with 4 new coils. not just 2 front coils and directions to put the old fronts in the back.

With the zone package, you'll get a crappy rear drop racket for your trackbar, and NO front trackbar kits that upgrade the front....
Just get a BB which includes spring.
