We are talking about 125% FSB increase over intel rated

FSB to not even thinking about booting a little bit just over 340fsb regardless of multi.
Is anyone
aware of any fsb holes in the p5q pro?
If not, any advice on squeezing a higher fsb out of an e5200
check when i get home tonight, i may simply be at the end of the FSB range for my cpu, i'm already

AMD CPUs Semperton140 & Pheom II x2 have 4000 Hyper Transportation (FSB). NewEgg lists its
motherboards with FSB. Do the CPU's and motherboard's FSB need to match exactly? What if I ever get
on the fancier boards. The board fsb doesn't need to match the cpu or memory fsb.Hypertransport

Some comparison i choose the ASUS A8N SLI Premium , but they're being delivered with a 1000MHz FSB
and a 2000MHz FSB, apparently.
I have an AMD Athlon64 3700+ 2.2GHz and a 2000MHz bus .
Now my question
You must have the same FSB as your processor. The settings will be in the BIOS, most likely

The FSB determined the speeds of our CPU's - if you had an FSB of more than 500Mhz - people instantly
multiplier, times 21 by 185 etc..." it takes ages!! not just like FSB - 400*9 = 3.6Ghz - easy!!! FSB
QPI.QPI +1If you post QPI or FSB, the thread would be alot more informative if you mentioned why

OK, for all you old schoolers out there....
Barring other issues, what kind of FSB can a 440LX
around with has jumpers to set FSB up to 100 MHz.
And on that note, would a PII 300 be able to make
to be serving files and folding and the more FSB I can get out of it the better.
Plus it's a dual... (Asus

I'm looking to buy the new Gigabyte motherboard running at 1066MHZ FSB plus an Intel chip running
at 800MHZ FSB. Technically, would this mean the motherboard would only run at 800MHZ anyhow? Should

Well, I'm curious! I read that AMD CPUs are capped at a certain FSB. 266? So, would going
to a motherboard that allows for a faster FSB really allow the CPU to take advantage of it? Something
P.S.
Not even KT266 but more like KT133! KT133 IS already running at the 266 FSB! What's up

Ultra Platinum and I'm hoping to drop a Barton in it, but the faster bartons run 333MHz fsb.
KT333 chipset MBs are rated at 166mhz FSB or 333mhz FSB.
You might need a BIOS update to support
and soyo says my model only supports up to 2600+ 233MHz tbreds- no support for any bartons at any fsb
