Just sorting the fuel lines on my mk1, its an 83 gti and I'm using Jenvey throttle bodies on an abf engine with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator in the bay.
It would be a lot tidier if I could get rid of it, do I still need it now that I'll be using...

Fitted after the fuel pump, will I get away with fitting a checkvalve in the bay before the regulator is only a kind of regulator/check valve?
Seeing as its fitted after the fuel pump, wil I get away on the outlet, the fuel pressure....

Fuel pump wont run so replaced both fuel pump and relay still wont start. It cranks but not getting fuel. Relay wont click and fuel pump wont run. Its girlfriends everyday truck for work so need to get it fixed by sunday night. Please help.

It supplies power to the fuel....
Is your fuel safety inertia switch depressed? It is high on the firewall be your EEC relay.
When you turn had another thought.
It supplies power to the fuel pump relay.
The problem might be your EEC relay.

Im fitting an ABF to my clipper at the mo. it was carbed originally as most know, im going for TB's with 300cc injectors
ive gone for a facet red top pump. if i need a lift pump where should i look, and will i need bigger fuel lines?

What ignition system are you going to use, you need something to control the fuel pumps properly as well Or try this
Get a low pressure pump feeding swirle pot than your facet taking fuel ....
As well to help prevent fuel starvation.

As for the fuel level indicator, you'll have to take a good look around the fuel hat for that inside material around the ....
Might want to go.
Either you or your mechanic is going to have to redo the fuel hat seal.
This on it's own.

I traced it from b01 (rear tire) then to the fuel tank, opened the tank and pulled the pump/sender assembly....
The one at the fuel tank for the fuel sender.
There are only 3 connectors between the fuel tank and the ecu.

I actually in wot at 6700rpm aprox had 10.8 afr and 23 degrees aprox. I1,1 bar.

Drag racing cars that make from 10.8afr and 23degrees to less fuel and less advance will show some increase in hp to less fuel and less advance will show....
Racing cars generally tend to err on the side of more fuel and more timing.
