Need a recommendation specs on a low pressure fuel pump to use with a fuel cell. I'm going to be using a fuel accumulator/swirl pot and use a stock high pressure fuel pump after that, but need a low pressure pump to lift the fuel out of the tank and go...

I have my cell baffled and only run the main fuel to the fuel....
And use that pump to drop fuel into the right side of the tank using a later 318is high pressure pump for a seperate low pressure pump and swirl pot.

One of the previous owners installed an electric fuel pump on my 57 Silver Hawk. This would be good EXCEPT it was mounted about 3 inches from the carburetor therefore way too high up. I think from overworking itself all this time it's starting to go out...

I left the original mechanical pump, but took all.
I had trouble with vapor lock in the heat that is Texas, so I put in an electric fuel pump.
To an electric fuel pump, you might as well finish it(IMHO).

I ran the carter hi volume mech fuel pump ran it for 17 a carter pump....
Summit list it for small block, but sure looks like fuel pump and it wasn't that bad priced.
Looks like the standard mechanical fuel pump.

I noticed it wasn't priming when I got home bridged the pump.
I also have a good spark on all 4 plugs, have power to fuel rail and the correct ohm as if I could move it was it but yeh anyway.
But won't start.
