I like the original FullMetal the other characters aside from Edward were just....
I prefer the original fullmetal alchemist over the brotherhood one them both a couple times, I think I really like Brotherhood better.
Brotherhood, hands down.

Which do you like better?
I think that the 1st Fullmetal Alchemist was funnier and more exciting, while the Brotherhood one, which more closely follows the manga, is deeper, darker, and feel more slow paced & draw out... but I like them both each in there...

Fullmetal Alchemist was made when the manga was still being developed, so this one had a different universe.
It's that Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood follows the manga storyline.
Both are good.
