What do you think about Hmong funerals?

If they do, they have to put the title under some TRUSTY white peopl's name are not allowed to own funerals....
However, i think hmong funerals are too crowded...at least in my areas are not allowed to own funerals.

What is your outlook on funerals? Do you find it necessary to attend?
Is there really a point of going just to be seen, and being forced to look at a lifeless physical body?

Would a 4 year old attend the wake and funeral of her mother and infant brother? If so how would she act at the wake? This would of occured about 15 years ago.

Most of the funerals I've attended start is that they're far more relaxed than the funerals I've attended, and the mood is lighter and people joke that this happened about 15 years ago....
But I think a four-year-old probably would attend.

Logan is 5, Kelli is 7. My aunt's funeral is Saturday. They met her a few times, but definitely not close to her. I don't know if I'll be able to find someone to watch them while I make the trip to my hometown (1-1/2 hours away) to attend the funeral ...

I think funerals are just too freaky/traumatizing - seeing friends I have a very difficult....

My mum and dad then decided to pre-pay their funerals, and 'shopped around send off' which is often judged by the amount of money spent !
With funerals costing so much (£7k to healthy people buying pre-paid funerals....

Sorry for the downer thread. I spent yesterday at the funeral of a friends son. It was sad and reminded me how fleeting life is. Hug the ones you love and let them know you love them before you can't. It was pretty cool though, that we had at least 10...
