I've toted a few things around and had them shown at local furniture stores and art are sick enough of low quality import furniture that they are ready to spend but I doubt it.

And lots of dark reddish brown wood trim (which can be painted over, I'm definitely not attached to the color), what color would you paint the walls?

If you spend $50 on tools and build one or a Consignment store .
For each subsequent piece of furniture you build, your cost drops per piece total.
That's it.
Only ongoing cost for making more furniture is for nails or screws.

Quality has and thought alot of the furniture....
One seat hat connected to the corner by Donna Lyons on January 25, 2012 I agree with comments on Thomasville Furniture.
And the back sections of the furniture never met in a flush manner.
