I realize that the G10 is out now, but all of a sudden the G9s are gone. I would have thought they would be discounted and available everywhere, but it seems that the minute the G10 showed up that the G9 disappeared.
Does anybody have any links that have...

I like the wider angle, but sureAt our camera store, we can no longer order G9's and the price has gone up when and if you can find identical to the G9.....
Early tests at my camera store show it to be as good as the G9.

I find it curious that I see constant references to the G9 here.
Obviously it is a very nice camera and takes very nice pictures but it is a least five years old.
I have one but i don't use it as I have a T2i/S95 combo now.
Is it special in some way that...

I used to keep present boxes in my house like items around our Homes, Gaia! D: This was the ONLY good use I had for keeping dumb items like that I kept on the bookshelves.

Although I refer to the Canon G7, I have also carried out this modification on a Canon G9 housing (WP-DC21).
The Canon housing for the G7 & G9, like most other Canon housing doesn't have a filter thread on the lens port.
