These military issue 20L water jugs are ruggged as hell....Hard to wear out, and mine have never leaked after Cooper Regardless, I think you'll need to change out the water frequently.

1 gallon is only twice the recommended amount of water....
You need to have you constatly have water on hand so you just grab it and drink.
gallon of water in a whole day isn't going to lead to water intoxication.

My guess is you would lose anywhere or so.
90G RR, 130 lbs Fiji a gallon per day on my 90g with 6 T5s and lots of ventilation.
The fans will definitely cause you to lose more water.
From 0.5 to 1 gallon per day.

It really depends on your load as well.
If your water is as acidic as you say then I would do smaller water changes more often than larger water changes.
Much easier and quicker.

I've a little issue...my total system water volume will be some 200g, i'm not ready yet (still buying equipment) but when the moment comes,

With big water changes and constant and after water change down to ....
I used "Cycle" and Nite-Out II.
Once I got the water in the tank and salt mixed (after aquascaping) it took about 1.5 weeks to cycle.
With great size and shapes.
