It looks to much like a cartoonI haven't played it since a few years, but AOE 3 was a good game.

Anyone know if Age of Empires II works in Windows 7 if I get the Jewelcase edition of it? I think I read someplace you need to kill explorer for it to work okay.

I picked up this game 1 and a half day ago, (right after it went off sale again) I try installing it and BOOM there we go. Connection timeout... Every time. I tried changing my download server, tried to reconnect to my internet...

Did you try setting your download location to China? Heard... .
Never had anti virus on it and disabled my firewall nothing. .
Already tryed.
Then try to start the download again.

It is rather similar to....
They're similar I think you can play series.
Assuming it's an RTS game you're after, I'd recommend the Command and Conquer series (Tiberium Wars, primarily) I can recommend Age of Mythology or Empire Earth.
