Do a little research and you will find scholarly objections to lotteries funding education. Those tomes never focus their objections on the gambling aspect of lotteries. I, too, have no objection to gambling even though lotteries are surely sucker bets...

I bought my euro millions ticket today, and started to think of how much i spend on the lottery. For me its a euro millions ticket for a friday, and a lotto plus 5 on a saturday, taking it to £4 per week.
