Any real solution for the slow /stopped animations for doors, magic and fire in Oblivion for PS3 or XBOX 360? I got the suggestion of defragging the hard drive of my XBOX 360 to solve the issue, but nothing for the PS3. Any ideas?

Works FINE no lags or anything else.

Morrowind is a great game help....
Oblivion and by extension Shivering Isles are definitely worth playing.
However, oblivion has a lot of mods which, when combined, definitely make the game worth with the game.

I'm not sure how i feel. tbh i feel like oblivion was larger and more diverse than skyrim. literally in skyrim all it is is grey and brown everywhere. on the other hand oblivion was colorful and at times dull but still very vivid. anyone feel me?

Oblivion was the better game, places felt more "realistic" to me makes me want to play oblivion....
If it wasn't for the GOTY vampirism cure glitch, I might have gone back to play it recently .

I got a $50 amazon card and plan to buy one of these. I've never played either game and am weary to spend all my money on Skyrim where I could get two games if I get Oblivion.
Please explain the pros and cons of each and contrast their strengths and weaknesses...
