We recently bought a home in Arkansas, all electric heat except for a Heat-N-Glo 8000 TRD
providing ambiance.
We'd like to have a backup heat source, and I wanted to inquire if this unit

I have a gas log insert log set ( vent free ) i am planning on putting it where my exsisting wood
is i dont want all the heat to just go up the chimney instead of into the room..
