I have been told by two surgeons and a gastro specialist, that they have exhausted all known treatments for my GP. I have not responded to or am unable to take the usual med's and even the unusual ones... They say that the only option left for me is gastric...

I guess 6 weeks before the actual surgery they put you on a liquid diet and you ....
But yes, it's very beneficial.
My insurance won't pay for gastric bypass unless I go to a weight loss clinic and lose 30% of my weight.
It's HARD.

I really scared about having a gastric bypass done and been told a few horror stories that the staff take pics of your willy before they put a urine cafeter in you before the operation can a guy tell me about from the beginning of the surgery to a few...

I can only speak as a banded person -- one thing that differs with gastric-gained, there is no guarantee that faster....

Some people do lose that amount of ....
If his surgeon doesn't take action then I'd be looking for another one .
He could have a stricture or something else going on .
Is he throwing up? Can he drink protein shakes? He needs go back to his surgeon for help .
