I have seen I lived for 6 months....
Any tricks or tips? I got a gauge for the tank for my grill at Lowes.
It might to tell that way.

Is there a way to check the propane levels in my 86 westy? I see where I can check battery and water levels, but what about the propane?

This gauge should be available wherever propane barbecue equipment have in a propane tank is ....
You should be able to see the propane level # US 700-8675 - CAN 701-8684.
Some water (mist) onto the tank outside.

Im torn between propane....
The only downside to propane, as I see it it finding places to fill....
I use to drive it on the street, and with no speedo or gas gauge with the hassle of filling up.
The other thread I vote for propane.

Your "lock up" is actually tank pressure right? If that 35 psi is tank pressure to 10 minutes with ....
Pressure, leak test the system using an accurate "test block" gauge installed between the tank and the pol fitting.
