(figering out gear ratios using number of teeth)is the driven gear always devided by the drive gear? So the power goes from drive gear 20 teeth to driven gear 48 teeth then the ratio would be (2.40)correct?

Dealer replaced the gear shift sensor (or something like that) under bikes had no gear indicators, though I do like having it.
