A friend of mine is wondering if he has a GED or not. He vaguely remembers some classes they had him in, but doesn't know if he has a GED or not.
I think it was law that one had to aquire a GED within some timeframe after joining, no?

In the late 60's and early 70's it was not a written law , but in the Corps you were expected to aquire a GED within one on top of his Marines without a GED....
Not that I know of....You could get in without a GED in 1979 when I signed up.

I have a GED and was wondering if any branches are currently accepting ONLY a GED at the moment. I know that in order to be a Tier 1 equivalent I need 15 college credits along with it, but does anybody know if there any way I can get in with only a GED...

Has anyone taken the GED lately? My wife graduated from the Philippines, and it must take an act of congress to get an official copy.. So, I think the best bet would be to just take the GED..
Is it one of those things that is pretty easy to pass?

I dropped out of high.
I have my GED.
I think the process think a curriculum based learning as opposed to a GED is best.
But he can not take any opt out tests or go for a GED.
