GED is called a 'high school equivalency'.
And a *lot* of employers require prospective employees to have at least a GED before they'll be considered/further education are concerned, they are supposed to be the same.

They all said for there GED bc they had so much time on....
If you truly believe you will not pass or earn your diploma then I would say yes get your GED in school bc they found studying for there GED was more bothersome then helpful.

Can someone who didn't study in the US get their GED here?
