What use do you intend to put it to? Why an MTB, whats the thinking behind the mtb....
My seatpost has a little setback too (20mm-ish).
Hand how useful the folding feature is, but I believe a regular MTB with both wheels removed careful.

It does help, but no matter the manufacturer, a 29'er is never going to handle like a 26 .

The differences are in the 'finishing kit' like narrower bars/ thinner grips/and a wider seat... .
Other option bike is no different to a standard mtb.
