Show line, west german show line, european working lines, DDR lines, czec german lines, british german are more prone to health issues then others tho I think some lines are grouped together with other lines German ....

I think there is a lot of negative feelings about German Shepards, but the vast majority is unfounded sitting at your feet waiting for you ....
If I had to choose, I'd go the German Shepard.
We have one of each! Ours are outside dogs though .

Good noses, a little high strung and had to watch him a bargain dog from a backyard breeder .
I have hunted quail over German Shorthairs.
