You could also skip the constant-part and just like this:
if ($language == 'en') { reqire_once 'en.php'; } else if ($language == 'de') { require German, French and English ....
Depending on which language the user has choosen.

(attachment deleted, see updated a german translation and named it gm.xml
Ive uploaded the File to includes/translations now and have no issues whatsoever.
