Recently our server has come under attack on all our wordpress sites placing malware on the ones that had not been updated. After rigourous cleaning and shutting down older ones we got rid of it. And updated our sites. Whoever one of our sites...

I'm sure there are still off-site backup systems like that, but I find it easier to keep machines to a central ....

We would do one set of weekly backups on the tapes on that box and send them off-site.

Windows isn't my area of expertise but rsync may help get the backups from one site to the other particular Customer who is doing this still has traditional off-site tape backup rotation, too.

I have several sites in different domains: example.com , example.org , mail.example.com and passport.example.org . All of the sites are having common look-and-feel and should share the same user base.

Yes, use arrangement is not an off-site backup, it is an off-server backup.
Servers to get on with their own work while allowing for off-site tapes to be made at leisure.

We have stayed on and off site.
