Im planning on getting a new guitar, as my beginner 200 dollars one is crap..
I was offered a Les paul smart wood for 856 dollars..
And i can buy a new les paul studio for 788 dollars, which one should i go with?

Shop around a bunch (if you haven't already).
If this is your second guitar, and first high-end guitar.. .
Those prices are nothing special, so you can afford to pass on either one .
Maybe neither one is right for you.
Play them both.

The cost me about $700 shipped an 8cyl with the flash update tomorrow... .
I almost chose Gibson but i'm hoping JBA's patented vortex thingamabob get about $200 off then I most likey would have got the Gibson.

I knew they made this in an epiphone version...I didn't realize there was an actual gibson model....
Anyway seems to me this is the type of styling gibson fans in the US would love to see, more than Robot guitars and "dusk tigers...
