But overspending during the holidays on gifts, travel, food and entertainment to a charity in someone's name, give homemade gifts or start a family gift exchange.
At any time of the year.
I need to get started on making gifts for the holidays! I have some canned goods put up, I'll be giving soap away as well...but I'm still looking for ideas! Does anyone have some neat homemade gift ideas for the holidays? For mad scientists who keep brains...

I love homemade gifts! This is a good thread....
I knitted some scrubbies from hemp twine a few years back to go with some soap gifts.
Not everyone gets home made gifts! I buy cheap classless junk for everyone else.
