Does anybody know how much it costs to get your gold refined ?.
Is there a maximum amount you can send through the mail ?.
Where is the best place to get it refined ?. (my guess would be the mint.)

Its about $140 for assay and refining + a few dollars for silver....

I have posted previously about Fred using the improper "common" ounce unit of measurement when weighing his gold. This results in an overstatement of the actual amount of gold by about 10%.
Until now, I had not reviewed the Hoffman's gold measurements...

I'm not a physicist or a chemist. I have heard the story about turning lead into gold. Lead's atomic number is 82 while gold is 79. Will we ever be able to remove 2 protons from lead? The distant future needs alot for electronics...
