Ken, while there are a couple "classics" from the 90's that have a warm place in my heart, the ones I find most "pocket worthy" were all introduced during the current decade. The Stretch II is, IMHO, the best general purpose EDC folder Spyderco has ever built. The new FRN versions will make it appeal to even more people. The Kiwi is both a great little gent's knife straight out of the box and a perfect platform for creating "functional jewelry". The C83 Schempp Persian is the best looking knife Spyderco has yet to build, and a close second to the Stretch II as an EDC folder. source

It's worth nothing, Silver Bordered and Gold bordered cards are not allowed in any tourney play, outside of casual. So unless you play casual, yeah, you got ripped off. source
