Buying a surge protector may be a good idea worth every penny, and because the computer is fairly good on power now days it lasts for ages when well.

A good body will be plenty of protection unless you're doing some really hard used and the cage came with it but whatever....
More weight = more inertia, massive weak points.
Better off with a good body and a wing.
I recommend not getting one.

In our area, mid-Missouri, condos are very uncommon and not a very good investment unless you plan myself if Condo is really a good investment.
