For some reason I have something called a 'crawler toolbar' in firefox. Rather than doing a normal search of what I want it goes arseways about it.

- If you are using Internet Explorer Currently loaded add ons click it and switch it to all add ons and search for Yahoo toolbar and click it to then disable it.

Back to square one.
When I opened the browser and went to my homepage the google toolbar was gone again this morning.
I uninstalled the xfinity toolbar, google toolbar popped up.

I agree with the original poster that cessation of using Google products (msconfig) tool isn't really enough because Google Updater leaves a significant trail.

Nope - got the same results in safe....
Hummm...
With the View/Toolbar function was that unchecking the Comcast toolbar removed the Google toolbar from view, and vice versa for unchecking the Google toolbar.
