Taking shs's question a step further... Why isn't all government sponsored software open source? I can see excluding some for security purposes, but the rest? Didn't we as tax payers already pay for it? The government has no rights, only the people, so...

Does the US Federal Government have a coding style guide for C# and or Java? If there isn't, I think there should be given the amount of time they put into the Federal Enterprise Architecture and Document Standards.

I don't think there's one of the government, there may exist....
We were not provided a coding style from our government customer that we had to use.
In the past, working as a government contractor, our shop used our own coding style.

There are a number of restrictions on SQL Server Express that might not make it suitable for certain projects, but as far as I'm aware there is nothing in the license disallowing it .
