Based on bad experience with N97 White and its internal GPS I am wondering if anyone have tested the internal GPS function of Lumia 800 (not using AGPS) and if there are any comments on its function? Does it seem stable? Where is the antenna located? ...

With AIS, an internal GPS, and a remote microphone.

The advantage is accuracy servers against a pair of internal ntp boxes that sync against external lower stratum ntp servers is usually sufficient.
With a GPS ntp server you'll be getting a stratum 0 clock source.

I presume that by GPS you mean Satellite Navigation? Most GPS units and their Communicator API (....
They've got to interface directly with the devices.
If you want to talk to a Garmin GPS, you can check out their developer website .
