I have black granite worktops and was wondering what is the best cleaner to use on them. Does the normal cleaners discolour them over time? i was buying a special granite cleaner buts it a lot more expensive than the regular ones.
Anyone have any advice...

It's completely natural and smells....
I was told not to put any sort of normal kitchen cleaners on granite worktop as it eats away it an extra shine I use Flash Special Surfaces spray - which is for granite worktops - and buff.

There are some nice slate and granite effect ones about, that aren't high gloss.
Would look great with black gloss worktops (or better still granite) I do think that Oak looks nice worktop.

Got a silstone kitchen worktop one year old.
just noticed a chunk out of it. Right on the bevelled edge.
Mrs is gutted. Is there any way of getting it repaired.

Right because ive seen some atrocious things done to worktops ,marble stairs etc and never seen anything thats not retrievable Is say yes as its only smashed....
