Groundspeak have posted a review of 2011 on
Right at the end Jeremy stated that in 2012 the focus would be on quality over quantity. Does anyone have any idea how they plan to implement this?

Take a look at the monthly newsletter and you will find the following article:
Does this mean that the FTF "side-game" is officially recognized by Groundspeak? Will this competitive part of the game be added to the website...

Just a quick one this. 6 days ago I planted a new cache and sent relevant info to Groundspeak and it still hasn't been reviewed and published.
My 2 previous hides were done on the same day so I'm wondering whether anyone else is...

I checked your Listing, and it is indeed Disabled and not visible in the Review Queue... .

Any chance you missed the check box to Enable the cache on that one? If not checked, the reviewer doesn't know about it .

I've had my iPad for over a year and there's been no update of the Geocaching app to an iPad version. And no word on if there will be one. Nor any indication as to whether or not buying the existing app will give you a free...

So often people write about complaints here.
I'd like to see what has worked for people, for a change.
One big thing I see working more and more all the time, is the "favorite points."

Now that Groundspeak have switched the Geocaching maps from a commercial service (Google) to a Community One run by volunteers (OpenStreetMap), I do hope that some form of donation has been made towards the service from Groundspeak...

I've just updated my iPhone app to 4.6.0 and when i go to Trackables and then press the "View My Trackable Inventory" after a short while i just get a message saying "No Results No trackables were found."
Tested the trackable...

I went out cachin this morning and found the same problem, when I went to drop a trackable (which I have 4 in my inventory) I got the message "No Results No trackables were found." .

This might be a silly question, but I really don't know where to look to buy stronger magnets. I know a magnetic key holder can get the job done, but where can I go to buy magnets strong enough to support a small locking...
