guide to Italy and was about 14/15mb in size if i remember correctly so these type of guides do seem to be large these travel books have a large number of photos including colour ones thats why.

I am not a lonely planet user but see so many travellers sitting at airports all text....
I think, using LonelyI would have to agree.
They are more a practical travel guide for the independent traveller.

So Lonely Planet gives Limerick years.
It takes time for feedback of either sort to work it's way into the book .
But generally the reviews of Limerick in the Lonely Planet have been improving over the last decade.

With the Love2012 offer, the LP Turkey travel guide book costs GBP £11.75 incl delivery to Ireland for a guide is about £18 so that's a £9 saving according to my calculator Sorry, wasn't having a go.
