Just acquired the above-mentioned gut.
It looks like quality gut, and though 16L in gauge, it actually looks thinner than Babolat VS 17.
But here is the shocker: The recommend tension listed in the back is 20-40 lbs (9-18 kg).
40 lbs is just awfully low...

Natural Gut string I am interested in people's view on Natural Gut strings - I've away to do a racket in Titan Titan GT Longlife 20G.
Not 100% sure what tension - put probably on the low side 22 lbs - that about the same as Yonex BG80.

To get gut is suppose to be similar to the old VS gut before BT7, so it is suppose to be softer than the current VS.
Klip 16 ga is a stiffer and thicker string than the Wilson gut you replaced it with.

Is there any reason to use full gut over gut/poly besides comfort? Won't there be a large spin difference for only a little comfort, power, and tension maintenance gain?

Just strung up my Aero Storm Tour GT with the Babolat VS 16G (Black) in the mains with RPM Blast 17G in the cross, both at 54LBS. So far it feels pretty good. The natural gut just glides over the RPM crosses.... there isn't any force holding the mains...

I always strung natural gut in the crosses for that extra comfort and durability, but after reading how a lot of people benefited more when they put the natural gut in the mains, I gave it a try move around! Which was a HUGE....
