As Ian pointed out, financial limitations have kept my hand plane collection at the bare, a block plane....
I now have a reasonable collection of planes, most of which I use from time to time with the article.

There are only 4 skewed plane blades in the total batch, so I'm thinking please (I think that's the correct convention....

I've also seen that front knob in light brown....
Their early planes were made by Stanley or Millers Falls, but by then I don't know who was making it.
Powr-Kraft (Montgomery Wards) planes from the seventies have that style handle but in black.
