Ok, so Im sure someone has a comment? I would buy cheaper hand tool (the one i know i wont use as much as other)and would put more money in large tools,as you say hand tools are easier to replace.But i am there cheaper....

Man that sucks....we all know that the made in the USA craftsman tools are quality made tools.... so now when we shop for craftsman tools we will need to be selective on what we buy.. just like when we shop at harbor freight.... because some are good ...

It was and still is the return policy and price that put them in most tool box discount.
Of the road tools at best.

Randy tools I chose Craftsman for the simple facts that they were American Made, easy to get and had rock when I would warranty out old ....
I'd much rather deal with the driver directly and get a receipt when i hand my tools over.

Craftsman Tools have always been the blue collared tool, the casual mechanics american (if not all) hand tools being made in the USA.

I just noticed my Porter Cable hand held circular saw has the blade opposite my neighbour's Skil Saw. Is there a right and left handed version? It seems the DeWalt rechargeable is the same as the Porter Cable. What is the norm?

Good news, but this right hand or left....
Standing to the left of the cut...left hand bracing material That is correct----a right handed saw actually makes their saw reverse, but considers it a right hand unit from what I read .
