Size and quality question
If I have a 3000 x 3000 pixel image and I print it at 300dpi it will be 10 inches square.
Lets say I want to make the image approx 8" square. What would be the best way to do it?

I personally prefer Aperture: it's a very aesthetic, I like the options it gives me with organizing my photos, editing is simple and easy.

But there is no painless switching, so I will hang in there with Aperture, and it does everything I want.

I gave does not give me the 'snap' I can get with files even in View NX2 with its simple sharpening slider that Aperture does not give me the....
Curve, but it's worth perseveing because the results can be stunning once you get a hang of it.

I have a Dell U2711 wide-gamut monitor that can run with an AdobeRGB profile, as well as sRGB. Using my Spyder 3, I have calibrated the monitor in both sRGB and AdobeRGB modes.
I have always soft-proofed in Photoshop in sRGB because I didn't own this ...

I have seen some people suggest that the D400 would basically have similar specs of the D300s but include the D7000's sensor, and a few other minor updates. Would anyone really upgrade to this camera for $1,700-$1,800? I had the D300 and eventually sold...

Recently, sold my 300VR and have purchased a new 600VR after much deliberation. I know it has a combo of two lens hoods. My question is do you really need to use them both or is the one adequate?
