Dale - have you got Capture NX2.
(but only if the file is way too big.
To image quality as interpolation up.
I personally prefer Aperture: it's a very aesthetic, I like the options it gives me with organizing my photos, editing is simple and easy. what do you prefer? keep this topic alive with your thoughts and your likings Haytham Nasser.

As a Nikon user, I also have a copy of Capture NX2.
Me than for Aperture.
But there is no painless switching, so I will hang in there with Aperture, and it does everything I want.
D700 or D800 DILEMMA I finally bit the bullet and the bought the D700. A week and a half later they come out with the D800. I can still return the D700 for a refund and order the D800. But is it worth it? I do mainly portraits (babies, children, engagements...

Unreliable unfounded information can be, that Nikon is shipping a newer version of Capture NX2 with the D800.

I gave does not give me the 'snap' I can get with files even in View NX2 with its simple sharpening slider that Aperture does not give me the....
Curve, but it's worth perseveing because the results can be stunning once you get a hang of it.

Also, when processing Nikon RAW files in the Nikon NX2 editor, NX2 will use the camera settings to render the image presented to you on the screen.

Using/WS268F3399-80B2-4169-A598-04C7F769FFA0.html I shoot in aRGB but automatically convert to sRGB in both Nikon NX2.
I have seen some people suggest that the D400 would basically have similar specs of the D300s but include the D7000's sensor, and a few other minor updates. Would anyone really upgrade to this camera for $1,700-$1,800? I had the D300 and eventually sold...
