Harsh

I just turned just over 1000 miles in in my 2010 and have had this happen several times already. I have been using the tip shifter to properly break in the engine. On the way home tonight it did this, just like you state. I do one of those rolling stops and it's like the DSG gets caught shifting from 2nd to 1st as I am trying to accelerate. The revs jump up quick and then a harsh shift into 2nd gear. Other than this little annoyance I do like the DSG and that really suprises me since I have been a manual guy up until now. source

I like the ride of my '09 Ksyrium Elites, they aren't harsh in my opinion. Why do you think a wheel with aluminum spokes would give a harsher ride than a wheel with stainless steel spokes? source

Its not necessarily the fact that the critiques is harsh itself but that the point of these critiques seem more to insult a lack of skill rather than to help with anything. Like posting in that thread to comment on that work is a waste of their time. source

I have an 08 GS with ESA and I always ride on the road in 'comfy' with not a complaint to speak of. I rode the thing from Michigan to California and ESA was great wether dirt or road riding. source
