Found a local source for HDPE DR-11. Guy Quote: d me .95 a foot with tax. Seems like an ok deal but once you factor in the plug cost, it doesn't seem like that great of a deal...
Just wanted a few opinions before I go buy 300 feet of it.

Looks like addyracks has.
Not sure what size you thought that gas prices determed HDPE prices, well that simply isnt the case.
Shipping is a killer on HDPE tubes since they weigh so much in bulk.

I don't really like the fiberglass splinters you/sh...iberglass+hdpe

I like hdpe.
I have both.
IMO, the only reason to go for fiberglass over HDPE is if weight is a major concern.
I have some of both HDPE lasts longer.

Hi all,
Quick question. While cutting my HDPE block the other day, the cutter was very harsh and noisy machining in one direction. Is this an indication of too fast a feed rate?
Thanks. Russell.

At 40mm/s or 2400mm/m ( flat out for HDPE) , with a real shallow 2mm cut
12,000 rpm
rough cut with a 2mm pass
finished with 0.4mm pass
each mould was 5 hours ( 3 of them in HDPE )

Where are they located? I have always dealt with rick from Display... .
Addyracks looks nice.
Thanks Coachtimmy.
^^^^pretty much sums up this thread.
Given your location, I'd say pyroboom or AddyRacks would most likely be your best bet due to shipping costs .
