Night long. We had a fire that we burned the oak in, then coals were shoveled into the roasting pit
A 92 pound pig. He was a little frozen when we picked him up from the store, had to defrost him

Anyone here have a good recipe for roasting a whole Chicken? I've never Roasted a Whole Chicken

Please help, everyone:
I do not know how to make a traditional turkey. Sure, I know how to bake
a turkey, but not the stuffing in the turkey. The side dishes confuse me too. I purchased a countertop
oz hens and the Chipotle Orange Roast Turkey Breast which calls for 2 3/4 lb turkey breast

I notice more and more of the cooking mags suggest brining their turkeys and claim it makes it so
roasting:
Begin thawing the turkey in the refrigerator or in a cooler kept at 38 degrees F.
Combine
require a total of 2 to 2 1/2 hours of roasting. Let the turkey rest, loosely covered with foil

then you Roast the Turkey for like 3 hours (not the 6-8 I have seen people do

I have a crockpot recipe for turkey breast that is majorly yummilicious. I'd like to do our large
Thanksgiving turkey the same way, but in the oven, since we don't have a crockpot that would fit
roasting pan as a wedding gift. Works best with a fresh turkey, the larger the better. A fresh turkey...

Has anyone tried to get a turkey done on a rotisorie(sp?) here
in the US still into brining the turkey before roasting it? Brining was the big thing a few years
happily basting his turkey. He save wood chips whenever a neighbor cut down an apple tree. Best turkey...
