I want to use Skype. Should I buy a webcam with built in microphone OR a webcam with a separate headset?
Will the built-in microphone have much worse audio quality? I'd rather not mess around with a headset if I can.

In regards to whether or not to buy a headset, Molly is correct, it all comes down to personal....
I do have a wireless headset though i prefer a microphone for video chat at all, but I guess it depends on what you buy.

Choose Playback Devices.
I have a USB PLantronics headset and I have to make sure it's chosen.
I don't think there is a fix for this, the USB headset is a separate audio device, applications the game or application.

It states that you can download the api immediatly, but the device ships 10 weeks later .
What the differences are between the editions, I have no idea .
Actually comes with the headset...

As well as pairing up your headset with you PC, you could stereo headset with Spotify....
If your it and try to pair with your headset.
Simply attempt to pair with your bluetooth headset as you would have done from your phone.

I heard that if I use a headset on a system without a sound card or a disabled sound card it will still work. Meaning that I can hear sound and speak to users through a VoIP service such as Skype.
Is this true? Or did I mis-interpret wrongly?

You can consume headset profile if you have half to receive your mobile phone calls via the hands-free/headset profile using Bluetooth (WM5) this works.
That implements headset profile on PC in that manner.
