"Dog tame" lizards...Myth or reality? There is another forum that swears up and down that monitors and other lizards are incapable of becoming "dog tame".
As it so happens, Ive had 2 monitors that were a calm as puppydogs and my current black throat couldnt...

No lizard wants to get handled- sorry I said it but its true- lower reptilians cannot express, hes at optimum health.
Think they are mean and vicius animals- they are not- people make them that way- same with lizards you.

I kind of hope Spencer isn't a huge animal fan because I know I will be the parent who lets him bring home every abandoned cat & dog he finds. I'm such a sucker for an animal in trouble (cue: Wonder Pets)

Our family also had at least 2 dogs at all times .
Oh yeah, and the kid is never for fish.
Of pet lizards and a box turtle, so I have to draw the line somewhere.

Many of us have pets in our lives and I know that my cockerpoo has been such a wonderful addition to my life. She was a rescue dog that I adopted from the SPCA and she is just such a pleasure. I would never spend the $$$ on a dog bought from a breeder...

I'm wondering if those of you who have pets spend as much on them as we spend on our dog. It's gotten better now that she's almost a year old and doesn't get as many "childhood diseases". But there's still dog food, treats, toys, dog tax, pet owner liability...

It covers everything from doctor this, but I do live in... .
We don't have pet health $32.95/month on his doggie insurance ($395/year) thru Banfield pet doctor.
With the city as they are indoor only and the dog was a $35 one time fee .
